Diana B
After
numerous requests, Diana B is working on her new CD.
Songs are t/b/a but will certainly
include some audience favorites, such as "Do You Miss Me", "Thank You",
and others. If you have a personal favorite, by all means forward
your request using the contact form on the left, and we'll pass it on!
Known
for her raucous sense of humor and heart-breaking ballads, Diana has charged
ahead in her own idiosyncratic fashion, and has been called "The Grizzly
Adams of songwriting".
Seen
above basking in her Ray-Bans, she recently descended
upon the LA area after spending
many years in New York City.
As writer/producer, she's made
her mark in both the musical
and theatrical arenas.
Her
music has been recorded by artists such as Shawn King,
Bruce Roberts, Andrea Marcovicci,
and Mongo Santamaria.
Her musical review, "I Heart
New York", was presented in
showcases at Don't Tell Mama's
in New York City in 2001 and 2002.
Diana is also continuing her
writing partnership with Bruce Roberts. The fun-loving duo co-wrote songs
and score for the film Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Island of
Misfit Toys.
Rudolph
received four nominations for the Video Premier Awards: Best Film, Best
Score, and two Best Songs!
Diana
has also contributed songs to the musical "Funky Fairytale" (mounted
at Trump Casino), and many Hershey Park musicals, produced by Allan Albert
Productions; and she was the compiler and music director for "After Hours",
a review produced by Amas Musical Theater of New York in conjunction with
Eric Krebbs, which featured four Diana B songs.
Most
recently, Diana has written and produced an audiobook for children, Freddy
the Teddy(TM), Volume I, and is presently working on for a made-for-television
film, and the new Danny Grae CD.
